Dolphin fish are being given a high-quality diet in an effort to combat the devastating effects of the pandemic.
The aquariums are also trying to prevent the spread of the parasite in their tanks.
The Aquarium of the Gulf is one of the few in the world to provide a specially designed aquarium for its fish.
“We have taken care of dolphins for the last eight months.
Our dolphins are fed in a very special way and they are very healthy and active,” the aquarium’s founder, Nasser Hamdan, told AFP news agency.
“They can eat up to 500 times their own weight in water per day.”
This is a huge problem. “
The most recent death was last month and it was in our aquarium.”

We have been told that there are many dolphins that have died from the virus in the past but we have never seen any of them in our tank.
“The aquariums, located in the Gulf of Oman, has a capacity of more than 100 dolphins and about 200 fish.
It was established by the Abu Dhabi-based Abu Dhabi Development Authority (ADAA) in 2002.
He said the aquariums had recently started using bio-filters to keep out the virus, as well as using biochar to keep the coral reef at bay. “
In order to prevent them from getting infected, we take them out of their tanks and have them placed in the tanks of our aquarium,” Mr Hamdan said.

The facility has also begun treating its dolphins with antibiotics.
It has also set up a dolphin rehabilitation centre.
The government-funded project, which was started in March, aims to train and train people to help the dolphins.
“Our aim is to train people in their jobs, in their daily lives and how to help them to be healthy and happy,” Mr Al Khalifa said.
The plan is to provide dolphins with clean water, and also give them regular training.
The project was funded by the UAE Development Authority.
